Keyhole Buttonhole for Light to Medium Weight Fabrics
The Keyhole Buttonhole is commonly used for jackets, coats, and outerwear. This narrower version of the buttonhole can be used for light to medium weight fabrics. Use a fabric stabilizer underneath to help prevent the dense stitches of the buttonhole from puckering the fabric. Adjust stitch length and stitch width as desired for the thread you are using, as well as, the look you want for your project.
