Get creative with decorative stitches and assorted ribbons! This unique runner can be made in any length or width you want. Though this project incorporates the Stitch Elongation function, a feature on many electronic sewing machines, you can use decorative stitches from any SINGER sewing machine to embellish the ribbons.
Materials
- Satin ribbon in assorted widths (1/2" to 1 1/2") in 5-6 coordinating colors
- Lightweight cotton fabric to coordinate with ribbons (for runner base)
- Lightweight double-sided fusible webbing
- Polyester invisible thread
- Assorted rayon threads to contrast ribbons
- Bobbin thread
- All-purpose thread to match fabric
- Fusible tear-away stabilizer
- Edge-joining foot
- Satin foot
