Frequently Asked Questions - PFAFF® Presser Feet / Attachments

PFAFF® machines feature a simple "press-on" system. You just need to lower the presser foot holder onto the pin of the presser foot, and it will click securely into place. No screwdriver is needed for most standard feet.

PFAFF® designs special presser feet with a cutout in the back, allowing the IDT™ System to engage and feed the fabric perfectly. Always look for the "for IDT™ System" designation to ensure you are getting the full benefit of this exclusive feature.

This foot is a quilter's essential. It is designed with a guide that helps you sew a perfect quarter-inch seam allowance every time, and the cutout for the IDT™ System ensures your fabric layers feed together precisely for perfect piecing.

The PFAFF® Zipper Foot for IDT™ System is ideal. It can be snapped onto the holder on either the left or right side, allowing you to get the needle very close to the zipper teeth for a clean, professional installation.

The Bi-Level Topstitch Foot has an undercut on one side, which compensates for different fabric heights. This allows you to sew perfectly straight topstitching along an edge, like on a jeans pocket or collar, with beautiful, consistent results.
