I’m Alissah! I’m a puff sleeve, ruffle loving, self-taught sewist. My love for sewing started young, I grew up watching my mom sew but I didn’t start until 6 years ago and haven’t stopped since.

In addition to creating sewing my own wardrobe, I also sew for my Etsy shop making sun hats. When I’m not sewing, I’m thinking about sewing, sharing sewing tips on Instagram, pattern hacking or thrifting and planning for my next make.

I’m Gabby. I’m a self-taught fashion designer and seamstress who makes her own clothes, designs and makes bags while teaching others how to do the same. I’m a lover of aesthetics who pays close attention to detail and loves wearing bold prints and beautiful colors. I started my sewing journey in 2014 when I got my first sewing machine out of a desire to create my own style and wardrobe on a budget. It became a business and brand in 2015, and my love for teaching birthed a YouTube channel in 2018.

Jessica began her sewing journey in 2015 after a little help from her grandmother, who grew up sewing clothing for herself and her 8 siblings in Portugal.  She taught Jessica how to sew on a budget, drawing patterns on paper bags, thrifting materials for sewing, and upcycling old fabric. She purchased her first Singer sewing machine to make her first few dresses made from old bed sheets, and absolutely fell in love with the craft.
