Freshen up your space with this chevron-striped pillow cover. First, finish the exposed edges of the fabric strips with your SINGER® serger, providing a textured appearance. Then use your SINGER® sewing machine to apply them to the pillow front. Mix fabric patterns and prints to express your own style!

VIEW INSTRUCTIONS

Materials

  • ½ yard main pillow fabric
  • Three 2½” x 44” pieces cotton fabric - quilting weight (stripes)
  • 1 invisible zipper at least 14” long
  • Three spools serger thread to match each of the cotton fabric selected for “stripes” on pillow front
  • 1 spool sewing thread to match each cotton fabric for stripes
  • 1 spool sewing thread to match main pillow fabric for construction
  • Rotary cutter, mat and ruler, pins
  • All-purpose thread for construction
  • Wash-away fabric marking pen
  • 12” x 16” pillow form
