Arts For Little Hearts is a non-profit charity that delivers handicrafts to hospitalized children all over the world. Anyone can create a handicraft donation and Arts For Little Hearts can distribute it to a hospitalized child overseas! A pillow of any size and shape can have the Arts For Little Hearts logo on it. The two co-founder brothers created their pillows with fleece, felt and metallic shiny fabric. This project is intended for those of any age, and can be enjoyed by young children just learning to sew. Materials
- A piece of fabric for the pillow (will need a front and back)
- Assorted small pieces of fabric for the applique hearts
- Polyester Fiber Batting to stuff the pillow
- SINGER® Universal Sewing Machine Needle, Size 80/12
- SINGER® ¼” Presser Foot
- 50wt Cotton Sewing Thread- choose colors you will use
- 6” x 24” Ruler
- Cutout cardboard template of a heart for the applique (you can make your own hearts--make them any size you’d like)
- SINGER® SteamCraft Iron
