Use a single letter and the Repeat Design function built into the Futura®software, to repeat the letter into a new design layout. You can repeat many different types of designs or letters to create interesting textures on fabrics. For this project, the embroidery design layout was created as a Multi-hoop design, sewn in 4 hoopings.

  • 1/2 yard Fabric A ; side panels
  • 3/4 yard Fabric B ; center panel
  • 1/2 yard Lining
  • 2 yards heavyweight fusible interfacing (Pellon®808 Craft Fuse®)
  • All-purpose thread
  • Machine embroidery thread
  • Bobbinfil thread
  • Hand sewing needle
  • Water soluble marker
  • Ruler
  • Wooden handles
