Use your 5-Thread Serger's Chain Stitch to embellish an evening clutch

Materials

  • 3/4 yard fabric 
  • 1/2 yard lining to match fabric 
  • 1 yard heavy fusible stabilizer 
  • 2 spools Pearl Crown Rayon (YLI) 
  • Rayon machine embroidery thread to match the Pearl Crown Rayon
  • 3 cones all-purpose Serger thread  
  • 1 spool all-purpose sewing machine thread 
  • Purse magnet
  • Water soluble fabric marker 
  • Rotary cutter, mat and ruler
