I’m so excited to share my first project with you! New to sewing, only 2 months in, I thought it would be kind of awesome for you to follow along as I tackle this new venture. I probably won’t know a lot of answers if you have questions but will make sure to connect with my peers to get you answers. So on to the project!
June is traditionally thought of as kick-off to the bridal season, so we thought we’d inspire you by showing a wedding dress that we embellished with machine embroidery! Whether you are making a wedding dress, any other special occasion dress, or if you just want to embellish one that has already made, machine embroidery allows you to create something that is truly one-of-a-kind!
When doing machine embroidery, most fabrics will require that you use stabilizer in order for the embroidery design to stitch out successfully.
