  • Plain towel
  • Small fabric scraps
  • Pins
  • Scissors
  • All-purpose sewing thread
  • Cotton fabric strip: Depth as desired (band for towels shown were cut 4¼;") Width should measure the width-of-towel, plus 1 additional inch
