  • 1/2 yard cotton fabric for exterior
  • 1/2 yard cotton fabric for lining
  • 1/2 yard fusible interfacing 
  • 1 yard ribbon
  • All-purpose machine thread, coordinating color
  • Machine embroidery thread, contrasting color
  • Ruler, mat and rotary cutter or scissors 
  • Point turner, letter opener or chopstick 
  • Straight pins 
  • Water soluble marking pen or chalk
